Farewell to the Fringe by MON

Master of None's first Fringe is over; on 1st September, with tears in our eyes and bags underneath them, our team headed out of Edinburgh.

A fox cried out from Arthur's Seat, as the cast and crew of 'Foxfinder' made their way past in a miniature convoy (a Daihatsu Terios and a natty black Golf) heading for the border. Was it a cry of fear, of sadness, or of victory? Was there even a fox? And did it actually cry out? We won't know.

What we do know is that we couldn't be happier: sellout shows, 5 star reviews, and minimal illnesses made Master of None's first Edinburgh Fringe an unforgettable one. Roll on #EdFringe2016!

Thank you to everyone who helped us, in any way, to make this project a success - whether you helped us financially, creatively, or indeed just came to watch, we could not have managed this without you. You really are the masters of all.

"Exceptionally strong" - ★★★★★ FringeGuru by MON

What a way to end our run - today, Foxinder received another ★★★★★ review, this time from Richard Stamp over at FringeGuru - only his second five star review of EdFringe2015!

"The power of King's script has already been recognised, but theatre company Master of None add an exceptionally strong performance, and a haunting visual style. Despite the 90-minute running time, I was never anything less than completely engaged, and I left the theatre with the sense I'd heard an urgent warning."

"Enthralling" - ★★★★ The Metropolist by MON

A stellar review for our production of Foxfinder, by The Metropolist:

"We are drawn into it, keen to push and pry to see how far these characters and their lives can fall apart. It is an enthralling piece of work, and one worth catching as the Edinburgh Fringe draws to a close."

"Highly Recommended" - Fringe Review by MON

Foxfinder got a no star review today - but it's not bad news, because it's you can't even get stars on Fringe Review, so there. It's another belter.

"Uniformly strong performances from each of the four characters and ethereal lighting and sound reinforce the rather frightening and, at times, threatening nature of the work."

"Beautifully crafted" - ★★★★★ The Public Reviews by MON

Foxfinder has just been awarded ★★★★★ from The Public Reviews!

"In this production Master of None have managed to produce a wonderful and intensely captivating version of King’s script... The quartet of actors work wonderfully together, and combined with Tom Oxenham’s tightly directed piece have managed to create a world that seems both entirely removed from our own yet frighteningly close to it at the same time."

Never mind the foxes by MON

Following Phil Jupitus' mention of Master of None on The One Show, we were lucky enough to meet the man himself wandering the streets of the Scottish capital.

Thank you for the support, Mr Jupitus!

We are delighted to announce that our Indiegogo crowdfunding page is now live! Please, donate and share if you can - anything will help take 'Foxfinder' to the Fringe!

Tom and Alex kick off our first rehearsal - as you can see, we're off to a fine start.

Ticket announcement coming very soon.

Last month, our fearless director Tom Oxenham and frightened producer Hugo Nicholson took a trip on the world-famous Scotrail sleeper service, as they make a mad dash up to visit Bedlam Theatre last month.

After two hours' sleep, a weird breakfast and a free swim in the Radisson, we were ready for our official visit. Tom wore his best shirt, but let himself down on the trouser-front slightly.
Nonetheless, this was an exciting (albeit fleeting) visit - no doubt the first of many.
